I met Andy and Neil recently to take some engagement photos for them. I'm not shooting their wedding as they are getting married in California later this summer, but I sometimes have couples who find me here for these types of sessions and we go out and capture some fun images for them. I met up with super HOT Elissa and Ryan recently to shoot their engagement session. Elissa loved Charlie and Kent's engagement session, so we went back to Old Town Scottsdale and walked around for awhile. Actually as pretty as they are on the outside, they are also incredibly nice on the inside too and very, very in love. They could not keep their eyes or hands off of each other, making my time with them very easy and inspiring.
   I loved this moment. We were getting up from the stairs and Ryan just leaned down to rest his head on Elissa's chest and held her for a moment. Her whole face just completely softened and she held him back. I almost felt bad taking a picture of their moment, but then I figured they might appreciate it :)   Thank you Ryan and Elissa! Charlie and Kent are getting married this Saturday at Brophy Chapel and Desert Botanical Garden, so we met up recently to take some engagement pictures before their big day. I'm so looking forward to their wedding as it will no doubt be a beautiful, beautiful affair! We had a lot of fun taking these pictures over in Old Town Scottsdale. I look forward to seeing you both again this weekend! (These images are super low resolution because for some reason the back-end kept making me downsize the files.)

Another beautiful couple! I met up with Chris and Allison recently at The Royal Palms for their engagement session where we had a great time. They are both so cute and nice, and they have such of sense of easiness between them, so I'm really looking forward to their wedding this April at Brophy Prep and Desert Botanical Gardens. I recently had a super fun engagement session with Ginny and Dave at Brophy Prep in downtown Phoenix, which is near and dear to them as they attended the schools there. Ginny and Dave live in Chicago now, but are getting married in San Diego this summer at one of the brand new resorts there. They are such an adorable couple and so much fun, so I can't wait for their wedding in August. Dave is the brother of one of my friends, so not only will their wedding be beautiful Im sure it will also be so much fun.

I had a fun engagement session with Julie and Dan recently. At one point we all managed to get the "church giggles" and couldn't stop laughing. They are getting married next April and it is pretty clear they have an obvious chemistry between them. Julie designs her own line of beautiful jewelry and in fact made me a necklace that I always wear now and get tons of compliments on. Thanks for such a fun time Julie and Dan! I am so excited to launch my brand new blog! In addition to much bigger pictures and a new layout, I'm looking forward to being able to provide valuable links to other things and people out there specific to weddings and portraits, as well as give personal recommendations for books, music, cool blogs, resources and more. You can certainly take them or leave them, but I enjoy sharing ideas, things and places when I come across new things to love. Maybe you'll enjoy a thing or two as well. :-)
I also welcome your feedback! We are still working on an interactive comment box for the end of each post and hopefully that will be up in the coming weeks. But in the meantime, I love getting your feedback, thoughts and ideas, so please do share. I read them all and will be commenting back more frequently now.
Finally, I have to give a big, big thanks to Ryan Brannen for designing this new look and feel for me as well as executing on all the back end coding. He did a great job and is such a pleasure to work with. I told him I wanted BIG pictures and he certainly delivered on that, as well as on so many other components to try and make this unique to my business. This blog will continue to evolve and change a bit, so keep checking back for some new features. Thank you again Ryan!
