Friday, September 26, 2008

We completed Allison & Chris's album a little while ago, but I wanted to share the images from their beautiful and fun wedding this past May at Brophy Chapel and Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix. They are such a wonderful couple so its fun to see the images again!

Laura and Brandon's Wedding Album
Friday, June 20, 2008

We have completed several albums in the past few weeks and I wanted to share one so far that I just love. Laura and Brandon's beautiful wedding at a private home above the Sanctuary Resort on Camelback Mountain. Not only do these two look like Guess models, but they were blessed with an absolutely perfect day. Check it out!

Recent Wedding Albums
Monday, May 12, 2008

We are busy designing wedding albums over here and there are a few I wanted to share. (I don't post every album we do for time reasons, just a handful, but there should be a few more posted in the next several weeks.) We are knee deep over here processing lots of wedding and portrait sessions, so I'll try and be better about posting this week.

Michelle & Craig's Wedding Album
Friday, February 08, 2008

We have completed another album and have several more in process as we speak. I really love this album! Michelle wanted a very elegant and clean-lined album, so this design really speaks to her and Craig's sophisticated style. You can view the full coffee table book here. It is a 10x10, leather-bound, flush mount album. Their wedding was at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Couture Book
Thursday, January 03, 2008

There is a brand new and very cool album company offering very high end, one of a kind albums for brides who like couture/one-of-a-kind products. I am excited to now offer Couture Book hand-made wedding albums. The company is the brainchild of local Phoenix fashion and high-end wedding photographer Phyllis Lane.

You can
check out the website for more information, album descriptions and see the different samples. They also take you through the Couture Book hand-made binding process via an intro movie when you load the website, which is pretty cool. If you are interested in ordering one of these books, please let me know.

There are five different lines with different options within each line: Italian, French, German, NYC and Himalayan, so there is something for everyone here style-wise (images all credited to couturebook.com website):

The books are available in 60 page, 100 page or 200 page. Depending on style, size and page count, these books will range from $1,800-$5,200. If you are interested in ordering one of these books, please let me know.

Joleen and Tom's Wedding Album
Tuesday, September 25, 2007

I've been putting lots of albums together recently and wanted to share Joleen and Tom's. They had such a beautiful destination wedding back in late May at The Westin Kierland resort in Scottsdale. Both Tom and Joleen are from Chicago and I hadn't met either of them before their big day as Joleen booked me right over the internet. They were absolutely wonderful and the day was perfect! Click here to view their full 10x10 album.

Lindsay and Eric's Wedding Album
Monday, September 17, 2007

So I'm finally getting around to posting some wedding albums! I'll start with Lindsay and Eric's wedding at Sassi this past March. I loved everything about this wedding! It was fun, emotional, beautiful and both families were so incredibly nice. Click here to see the full slideshow of their album.

Since my fall wedding season is about to start back up next week, and these books are always big sellers, I thought I'd share a few additional pictures of the various types of custom albums and coffee table books that I offer. Albums range from extrememly high end, one-of-a-kind LaVie Albums to fun and trendy economical coffee table books, with options nearly everywhere in between. Covers can range from contemporary brushed metal, to hot red leather, to soft sage green, to silk lined, or hard bound books like you find in a book store. My most popular sellers are the leather-bound, flush mount collage albums (like Lindsay and Eric's above.)

Parents, these books are not just for weddings! Many families want a way to preserve their memories in custom coffee table books for infant, maternity, children or family sessions throughout the year.

If you are ever interested in learning more about album options, just
shoot me an email or call!

Welcome to my new blog!
Wednesday, September 05, 2007

I am so excited to launch my brand new blog! In addition to much bigger pictures and a new layout, I'm looking forward to being able to provide valuable links to other things and people out there specific to weddings and portraits, as well as give personal recommendations for books, music, cool blogs, resources and more. You can certainly take them or leave them, but I enjoy sharing ideas, things and places when I come across new things to love. Maybe you'll enjoy a thing or two as well. :-)

I also welcome your feedback! We are still working on an interactive comment box for the end of each post and hopefully that will be up in the coming weeks. But in the meantime, I love getting your feedback, thoughts and ideas, so please do share. I read them all and will be commenting back more frequently now.

Finally, I have to give a big, big thanks to
Ryan Brannen for designing this new look and feel for me as well as executing on all the back end coding. He did a great job and is such a pleasure to work with. I told him I wanted BIG pictures and he certainly delivered on that, as well as on so many other components to try and make this unique to my business. This blog will continue to evolve and change a bit, so keep checking back for some new features. Thank you again Ryan!

I've already posted a few new sessions below, so I hope you enjoy this new format... let me know what you think?
