Juliana and Robert: Engagement session in St. Louis

I had so much fun with Juliana and Robert at their engagement session. I travelled out to St. Louis back in early April to spend the day with them. While Juliana grew up out here in Arizona (she currently is in medical school down in Tucson), Robert was born and raised in St. Louis. They actually met at a summer camp near St. Louis — “geek camp” as they call it —  as young teens and slowly developed a friendship – which evolved into more – years later in college, where they both attended Washington University. We spent some time at the St. Louis Botanical Gardens, which were b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, as well as the college campus. It was so nice to travel to a part of the country  where everything was so green. Having lived in Arizona 20 years myself, I forget how lush most parts of the country are in the spring time :-)

We started the afternoon at the botanical gardens, and I was so taken by the cherry blossoms and dogwood trees, which of course we don’t have here in Phoenix.

After the garden, we went over the campus where they attended college together – a place very near and dear to them.

They both have the best smiles
