I love it when my former brides & grooms call me to photograph their newborns. It honestly gives me SO much joy to see them grow their families and be witness to their beautiful babies. This little man is no exception – he is the gorgeous, adorable, smushy-mushy son of Carlos & Ally (who incidentally has the most requested bridesmaids dresses in this history of this blog) :-)Carlos is a HUGE ASU fan (Sparky the Mascot even surprised him at their wedding) so little man T is going to have to love Arizona State too!

Baby Piper: Newborn Session in Scottsdale

Sweet, beautiful Piper is the daughter of Amy and Jeremy. Amy was still pregnant with her at her sister Christy’s very recent wedding, but she made arrival soon after and I got to meet her and hold her!

She was just perfect during our session – slept a little and then was awake but mostly content. She is pretty darn adorable, isn’t she?

Not so long ago, I had the honor to photograph this sweet bundle of adorableness, baby Ingrid, who is the daughter of the very talented Kelly Ashworth. If you don’t already know about Kelly, she is one heck of a graphic designer here locally who creates one-of-a-kind marketing collateral and paper designs – everything from custom logos, business cards, packaging, holiday cards, baby announcements and much more. And she is incredibly nice and funny to boot. AND, she and her husband Scott made one heck of a gorgeous baby girl!

Kelly’s parents and brother were in town visiting when we did this shoot and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much during a session. I kind of just wanted to hang out all day, hold perfect little Ingrid, and laugh.

Kelly’s Mom got a picture of me in action. :-)

Baby C: Phoenix Newborn Session

Oh sweet baby C – just 3 weeks old! He was a perfect angel for our session. I photographed his Mom’s adorable pregnant belly just a couple months ago and now he is here.

I’m slapping my own hand for being such a lousy blogger lately! We have been so busy over here working hard for clients first and foremost. I’m also working on being a more present and engaged Mama to my kiddos, who are growing at the speed of light, so with those two things happening simultaneously, the blogging has taken the backseat a bit lately. I apologize loyal blog readers. It’s just a stage… I’m sure I’ll come back through stronger than ever :-)

Here are a few images from another twin sessions I did recently… two sweet baby girls to one of my past brides & grooms. It truly makes me happy to see the circle of life continue with my clients!

Baby Cash: Newborn Portrait Session in Scottsdale

I love it when my clients grow their families and ask me over to photograph their expanding clan. In this case, baby Cash — adorable baby Cash — was a total peach to photograph.

I was going to link to their previous family shoot on my blog, but I was shocked to see that I didn’t upload it (and several others — it must have been during the crazy holiday season), so I’ll post a few pictures of their family sessions before Cash arrived, which include adorable big sister Emerson. :)
