Jeanette LeBlanc - Oh Jennifer, these are just so perfectly lovely. I can only imagine how hard it must have been to narrow these down to a reasonable number. You captured their relationship so well it looks as if they must have been all alone.

We have been busy this past week! Five sessions in five days, the first of which was the Goldney family who recently came for a week long visit from Ohio. Glenn (pictured above with his partner Dale) organized this family photography session for his entire clan as a gift at the Paradise Valley resort where...

Canvas Gallery Wraps {check!}

I managed to check something big off my personal to-do list these past couple weeks, something that has been on there forever. I finally ordered canvas gallery wraps of our family for our boring, blank living room wall! I redecorated this room earlier in the year and had this space where I wanted to do...

jenjoaz - Thank you Allison! I love mixing BW and Color – with the right combo of strong colors against high contrast BW I think they can work really well together :-)

August 26, 2010 - 6:55 pm

Allison - Love how you did color and b&w together…I always wonder if you should do that or not but I think it looks great. I have my wall all planned out but I just need to get them ordered. :)

August 25, 2010 - 9:22 pm

jenjoaz - So true! I still have their baby books on my to-do list ;-)

August 24, 2010 - 2:09 pm

Melissa Madden - They look beautiful! I’m always apologetic when people enter our home, we have only one canvas grid in the playroom with pictures of our girls! I guess it’s like a chef who doesn’t cook for his family! Nice work.

August 23, 2010 - 9:13 pm

Jenny Bishop - LOVE this!!! The wall looks amazing!!! And love that the family photo I took of you guys last Christmas made it on the wall and on a canvas!!! So fun!! Jordan’s canvas is ADORABLE!! That will be a great keepsake as she gets older!!

Taryn - Such an occupational hazard. Don’t feel bad that it took you this long… We have NO videos of our kids and the ones we do have are shot on a cheap video camera. One day we’ll start shooting some videos of our kids… One day. Congrats on this monumental accomplishment!!!

The Days are Long but the Years are Short

I have so much to update you all on. It’s been a really insane two weeks for me. A good two weeks overall, but also a transitional, busy, spiritual, hard, tiring, providential, reflective, full-circle kind of two weeks. The kind that force you to slow down and think. And the kind that can bring about...

jenjoaz - Melissa – thank you so much for your sweet comment. It’s nice to hear from other moms who are, or have been in the same boat. Maybe we will see you in dance class again soon!!

August 25, 2010 - 9:21 pm

jenjoaz - Suzanne – I heart you. xo.

August 25, 2010 - 9:20 pm

jenjoaz - Julia – it just kind of sneaks up on you, huh? Thank you so much for your sweet comment!

August 24, 2010 - 2:15 pm

Melissa Madden - Jen I can completely relate! Isabella just started first grade and I remember last year like it was yesterday! When Isabella was born I remember my mom telling me that the first day of kindergarten (when she sent me) was the saddest day of her life. I understood what she meant that first day of school – they have gone off into the real world!

August 21, 2010 - 2:29 pm

Suzanne Dixon - *BIG HUG* Jennifer! Very proud of you and wish I could be one of your interns =)

August 21, 2010 - 6:43 am

Julia - I get it. I’m a full-time working mom and my little one started full-time preschool this year. It’s not Kindergarten but it felt like it with the backpack, packing lunch, same mom anxiety. A co-worker shared the same sentiment when my baby (now a preschooler) was born “The days are long and the years are short” – it’s been a constant truth playing out in our lives since. Wishing you continued success in your family and in moving forward with your business. :o)
